COVID-19 update from Wonder Health
Dear Wonder Health Patients, At Alert Level 2 Wonder Health will open from Monday 18th May and we are working hard to do it safely. We like to reassure that all equipment is wiped and cleaned between patients and hands are washed. We will also regularly disinfect other surfaces and keep linen fresh. We ask that you help us maintain a healthy clinic for you, other patients and our staff. Therefore, please go thourgh following questions before you proceed with booking. 1. Have you been in contact with a confirmed or probable COVID-19 patient in the last 14 days? 2. Are you unwell or are any of the people in your household bubble/extended bubble unwell with FEVER (at least 38⁰C) or have any RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS which include: 1. COUGH? 2. SORE THROAT? 3. SHORTNESS OF BREATH? 4. SNEEZING & RUNNY NOSE? 5. LOSS OF SMELL? • If answer to ALL these questions are definitely NO ►then SAFE to proceed to the appointment. • If answer to ANY of these questions are YES ► then UNSAFE to proceed to the appointment • ► We ADVISE you to not proceed to the appointment let us know and call Healthline for free on 0800 358 5453. Acupuncturist Judy graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2006 with a Bachelor Degree of Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Massage. Originally from China, she moved to NZ from South Africa in 2016 with her husband and two children. She has more than 16 year’s clinical experience and practiced in South Africa for nine years and New Zealand since 2017. |
When you receive treatment from Judy Xu who is the registered acupuncturist you can be confident that your wellbeing and safety is at the heart of everything she does.
- I have completed a first-degree-level training in traditional acupuncture including substantial elements of western anatomy, physiology and pathology.
- I will record all relevant details of your health condition and your medical history before treatment commences. Occasionally, based on this information, I may refer you to your GP for further investigation or medical treatment.
- I use only pre-sterilised single-use needles which are safely disposed of after your treatment.
- All treatments are carried out in accordance with exemplary professional standards detailed in the Codes of Safe Practice and of Professional Conduct.
- The treatment room and all equipments must conform to standards and in nearly all cases have also been approved by local authority environmental health officers.
